If you are thinking about becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse or an LPN then before committing to the training regime you may well be giving some thought as to where the best place to look for LPN jobs after qualification would be.  The short answer to this is that because there are more LPN jobs available than qualified LPN’s you will almost certainly not encounter any difficulties in find a job, but that may not be sufficient for many people.  Many are really interested in knowing exactly who their employer might be.

Well, it may surprise you, but the military may well be one of the best places to look to appropriate LPN jobs.  This does not mean that you have to join the military, in fact to join the military as a nurse you need to have a degree in nursing.  They do however employ LPN’s as part of their healthcare teams and they are usually a very good employer, one that will give you a good solid place of employment, provide strong training and educational opportunities and allow you to develop as far as you may want to go.
