Four major exercises that increase jumping ability

Although there are lots of training programs out there that work towards making people stronger and faster, there are very few that focus on making athletes jump higher vertically.  The few that exist are however very effective in achieving their goals of making one jump as high as possible.  These programs make use of other exercises and workouts to strengthen the leg and thigh muscle to be able to contract and expand fast enough to propel the body off the ground.
The best physical exercises and workout programs to increase jumping ability include the side box jumping, weighted Box Jump, weighted Squats and a number of plyometric exercises.  The muscles involved in jumping are always rigid, even among athletes but these exercises will make them more flexible and respond fast to the brainĂ¢??s instruction to jump.  The result will be that the body will be forced upwards at high acceleration, attaining the highest vertical displacement before gravity forces it down again.
